Wouldn’t we all love a space that is just your own? A place where you create, think, rest, or just breathe. A space that is calming, soothing, peaceful, cozy, and serene. My ideal space would include a monochromatic palette of soft, natural colors layered with subtle texture and pattern changes. This serene space would be a place for lounging, working, or visiting with a friend. Sounds lovely!

The elements of my ideal retreat would include: 1. Stylish yet comfortable seating, 2. hard surfaces (console, side tables) 3. flexible lighting (though a natural lit space is a must), and 4. a shelving unit for collections and books. Where would my ideal retreat be located?

Corner retreats, great idea! Sometimes a whole room isn’t possible, but it shouldn’t discourage any mom from having her own space!
I had to add a touch of reality! Women deserve a touch of personal space–if not an entire room.
